When Facing a Crisis, Monday, November 23, 2009

Reading: Psalm 121, I raise my eyes toward the mountains. Where will my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. He will not allow your foot to slip; your Protector will not slumber. Indeed, the Protector of Israel does not slumber or sleep. The Lord protects you; the Lord is a shelter right by your side. The sun will not strike you by day, or the moon by night. The Lord will protect you from all harm; He will protect your life. The Lord will protect your coming and going both now and forever.

Have you ever been confronted with a problem or crisis that is so big that it makes you feel overwhelmed and powerless? Perhaps you’ve experienced that feeling of panic and fright when you realize you do not have what it takes to get through the situation on your own.

God is always with you and ready to provide you with the strength and wisdom to confront your problems. He eagerly awaits the opportunity to help and guide you through these times. God uses these times to help us develop our relationship with Him. He wants us to call upon him for help and support.
